The Worcester Art Museum showcases over 5,000 years of art with over 35,000 pieces in 36 galleries. Look for works by El Greco, Gainsborough, Goya, Monet, Renoir, Gauguin, Matisse and other masters. ARTSWorcester, located in the historic Aurora Hotel Building, offers 18 diverse exhibitions each year featuring the works of member artists. Numerous private art galleries also offer art in all mediums by local and national known artists.

On the performing arts scene, the arts calendar is filled with full-scale musicals, comedy and drama productions at the Worcester Foothills Theatre Company and Artists in Residence at Old Sturbridge Village.
