North High School Reviews

Worcester North High School may just be another public school in old 'ghetto' Worcester, MA; but to the residents of the north quad. it is our best school, learning is awesome and discipline is always inforced.

As a student currently at north I love it so much. Its hard for me to express my feelings about north. I can wake up every morning feeling excited and enthusiastic to go to school. Once the new buliding is built this well be the overall best public high school in worcester. They offer honor and ap classes as well as plenty of extra curricular activities. I love NORTH

As a sophmore presently at North I love being there. Even though the building is crumbling we all see to have that sense of unity that makes a big Polar Bear family. I'm glad I decided to go North for its classes that they offer as well as the JROTC program that they have running. JROTC is a great program that should be wide-spread like AP and Honors Classes. To some it may not seem like North is anything but it definitely means the world to me.

While the teachers and staff seem to do a good job of teaching, the school itself is deplorable. The building should be condemned as unsafe. I have a problem with the locker policy, wherein students may only use their lockers before and after school and not visit them between classes. In addition, I feel that the loitering in front of the entrance to the school needs to be stopped or monitored somehow. Academicially, I feel this school is acceptable, but in every other aspect, this school is amongst the very worst I've ever seen.

Im very happy to be a NHS parent I love how my daughter is eager to go to school every day and also learning.Teachers do a super job with the students such as Denise Mota and Elizabeth Fernandez keep up the good work!!!

Im very very happy to be apart of the Polar Bear family you always feel at home. Many educational activities great support groups.NHS is the best high school and the teachers do a SUPER job!! Teachers like Ms.Blondin and Ms.Fernandez give there all to there job and are the best teachers I have ever had.

The school facility is an absolut pit. How the city of Worcester can continue to house this school in it's current building is unbelievable. Floor tiles containing asbestos break away and litter the halls, electrical systems overload, classrooms are not kept up, technology is ten years behind and barely maintained.

I am so proud about being a Polar Bear parent! The school is excellent! They have a very good and strong curriculum! The Health Science Academy is excepsional. Teachers such as Nancy Bates and Jackie Latino go beyond their expectations as teacher.
