May Street Reviews

May Street is a small school of roughly 260 students. It is close-knit, warm and welcoming. There is a lot of school spirit and school events to bring the community together. Parents are involved and they have great art, gym, and music teachers. I have two children there and love the school.

My son attended Kindergarten and 1st Grade at May Street School. We loved it and appreciate it more now that we have moved. It's a close knit school. The staff was wonderful and always welcomed you into the school and classrooms. You can tell they really care about the children and their parents. The staff treated both children and parents with respect and I liked the way they handled discipline with natural/logical consequences (writing a letter of apology) as opposed to more punitive measures whenever possible. They were always willing to talk with me at any time and never made me feel like I was intruding. I want to thank May Street for being like a 2nd home for my son who adores and still talks about his 1st grade teacher. We miss you May Street!
