St. Mary's Junior/Senior High School Reviews

its great because it small and the teachers now you so you learn better!!!!!

I am a student now attending St. Mary's for the second year. During my first year, I was like every student. We all want no uniforms and allowed to chew gum. Although we dont get what we want, everyone is nice so that you have no problem with them. The teachers care about your education as well as the student. The activities given to us bring the students closer as friends and give us service to the school. Overall, this is a very good school.

I went to this school and it's a great school for your 'average' student because everyone's lumped into the same classes together. The people in the middle of the class get the most out of the experience. The ones at the bottom may not be able to keep up, the ones at the top aren't stretched to their potential. On the plus side, if you're bright, it's easier to get to the top of the class and that helps when it comes to applying for colleges. The downside is that you will struggle if you go to a top ranked university because you don't have the same base others do, especially in math and science. I was a straight A math student at this school, but I flunked math my first year in college and it took awhile to catch up to my peers.

I think that the classes provide a great education. Because of the small class sizes, I have a chance to learn more and ask questions. The teachers are very friendly and also are great for advice if needed at any time. The teachers get all the work done that's needed for a class, and yes homework more or less depending on which grade you are in. The principal is very friendly and understands some things that may come up. He can be nice, but also strict to some of those who break rules. As for extracurricular activities, your child will have a great chance to be on the sports teams, because of the school's small population.
