Interesting day trips around Worcester take visitors along the Johnny Appleseed Trail. Each season brings new delights at Carlson Orchards, a 140-acre working farm. Depending on the season, pick your own blueberries, raspberries, peaches, nectarines and over 14 varieties of apples. Get lost in New England’s largest maze at Davis Farmland and Mega-Maze. Get a taste of how blueberry beer and country ale and other home-crafted brews are made at the Wachusett Brewing Company. Ski the scenic trails at Wachusett Mountain. Spend a day in Boston exploring Freedom Trail. There’s plenty to do in and around Worcester.
