This is a beautiful well kept museum that not only offers great exhibits but has a great restaurant and a gift shop with beautiful reproductions and jewelry. I truly enjoy going there. They also offer classes in painting, sculpture etc...

A nice, small low key art museum. Many different special exhibits. Check for most recent ones.A great way to spend the afternoon, without doing too much walking. Check for free admission days(Sundays I believe) Plenty of parking in the lot across the street. Check also for student discounts

A nice, quiet atmosphere to relax and enjoy the art of many kinds. The museum is well layed-out, with clear maps pointing the way to the various sections. Here you can find stunning examples of Early American, Ancient, Japanese, Korean, European, Chinese, Indian and other kinds of art.
There is always a special exhibition to spice things up. I've seen an entire room painted with abstract art; movies of naked people dancing slowly; and pictures from the dawn of the age of cameras.
Bonus, if you're a student at a local college, you can get in for free.
