This is the only museum in the hemisphere dedicated to arms and armor. It is four floors tall with everything from stone age hammers to medieval lances. It also has a library with many books you won't find anywhere else on the topic. They run many programs, which are definatly worth going to.

This was a fun museum for kids. There was quite an exhibition of armor- We attended a lecture and kids were invited on stage to participate. Also an interactive room in which children could enjoy trying on clothes and helmets

We took a day trip here with our grandchildren and they really liked it. There was a very good lecture on armory that traced its history. There is also an interactive area where the kids can try on helmets. Worth a visit.
